El evento pretende analizar la investigaci\u00f3n en materia de sequ\u00edas y los avances en las pol\u00edticas con el objetivo de fomentar el desarrollo de Pol\u00edticas frente Sequ\u00eda. Se realizar\u00e1n tres sesiones tem\u00e1ticas consecutivas centradas en tres aspectos principales de la sequ\u00eda:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Pasado, presente y futuro de las sequ\u00edas;<\/li>\n<li>Indicadores, monitoreo y pron\u00f3stico de sequ\u00edas;<\/li>\n<li>Opciones de anticipaci\u00f3n y mitigaci\u00f3n frente a la sequ\u00eda.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>El mi\u00e9rcoles 11 de marzo, se dedicar\u00e1 una sesi\u00f3n especial al <strong>4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0pan-European Drought Dialogue Forum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El env\u00edo de res\u00famenes para realizar contribuciones al congreso termina el <del>31 de julio de 2014<\/del> 31 de agosto de 2014.
